Caractors Unlocked, by Mary Jo Jackel and Faye Shaw

'Caractors' Unlocked verifies the statement made by writers in the Book of Mormon that the Book of Mormon was written in "reformed Egyptian."  After 25 years of research, this book provides proof that "reformed Egyptian" is known today as ancient demotic Egyptian.  

After this discovery, the author used the 'Caractors' that Martin Harris took to Professor Anthon (See RLDS Church History 1:19) and compares each one to known demotic glyphs, and also provides its meaning.   A chart is included in the back, showing each of the 'caractors' and the corresponding meaning, if one was found.  For Book of Mormon enthusiasts, this is a must-have resource.  85 pages.
