Mark Forscutt's Diary

To the left is a photograph of the portion of Mark Forscutt's Diary that is quoted in the article "Emma's Fight Against Polygamy" by Richard Price.  This diary is an unpublished work.  Mark Forscutt's daughter Ruby Celeste married Leenan Logan Faunce. Their son Roscoe Orville Faunce married Grace Alice Edwards. Grace was a close friend of Pamela Price. 

Grace provided Pamela with access to this unpublished, handwritten diary by Mark Forscutt. A few of the pages of the diary were photographed, including the portion wherein he wrote that Joseph told the Saints that Brigham Young “would lead them to hell.”

This photograph and the transcription of it also appear in The Restoration Story by Price Publishing Company (which was granted publishing rights by Cumorah Books, Inc. in 2008) on pages 131-132.  This book may be purchased from the Restoration Bookstore.
