This is a reprint of a very popular historical novel that tells of the joys and sorrows of Emma Smith, beloved wife of Joseph Smith Jr. It follows her life from her courtship by Joseph, the joys they found together in the restoration of God's Church on earth, as well as the sorrows and persecutions that followed them from Kirtland to Missouri, and finally to Nauvoo.
