Who We Are

We are believers in Jesus Christ, the fullness of His Gospel, and His Church—which He restored through His Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. and continued in the Reorganization of 1860 through His Prophet Joseph Smith III and the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS).

We proclaim the original doctrine of the RLDS Church and support the independent Restoration branches that consider themselves to be the orthodox portion of that Church.

The Restoration Bookstore is sponsored by Price Publishing Company, which is a not-for-profit charitable corporation dedicated to the preservation and publication of materials supporting the above principles.

The Restoration Bookstore began operation on January 23, 1989, and went online April 6, 2003—exactly 173 years after the original Church was organized in 1830. We are pleased to make these resources available to you and hope you will visit us often and find spiritual strength from this site.
